Workshop “Improv and acting” with Miguel Santomé (ES)

This intensive workshop will analyse different aspects of improvisation theatre. Our main focus will be improvisation, but we will also work especifically on acting. We will provide some tools and we will work with different styles. Some previous acting or improvisation experience is not required but it is desired to get the most of this workshop.
We will work especifically on:
– Creating characters
– Working with objects and locations
– Stage movement
– Starting, developping and finishing a story
– Spoken word
Miguel Santomé is an actor, improvisator, writer and director.
He comes from the Spanish town of Santiago de Compostela, where he gained most of his theatre experiences. He stayed three months in Prague and took a course with BLR. Now he works as an improv teacher at Instant Theater Berlin. Miguel is studying directing at the theatre university and he prepares his final theater project.
